Transgenic mice ready to fight obesity, and more

Scientists have investigated mice with a very precisely modified genome. Because it is possible to turn off the Dicer gene in adult mice, they can be used to investigate the processes related to such cognitive functions such as learning and memory. Also scientists have just shown that the new transgenic mouse is suitable to study metabolic dysfunctions resulting in obesity.
