Not so fast — sex differences in the brain are overblown, expert says

People love to speculate about differences between the sexes, and many brain imaging studies have reported sex differences in brain structure or activity. But we should be skeptical about such reports, writes psychological scientist Cordelia Fine. The results from these studies may not withstand the tests of improved analyses -- and it's too soon to know what such results might mean for differences in male and female minds.
